Firstly, we’ll meet with you for a free consultation. If you’ve already had a design drawn up, we’ll inspect this and chat through any ideas you have for the implementation. If you’re yet to have plans drawn up, you may wish to engage our team as a consultant through the design process where we’ll work with your designer throughout the early stages of your renovation. This is known as the PAC process.

Once you’re happy to move forward, we’ll start reviewing some of the key factors of the build, including the project requirements, timeframe, and design. We’ll also go through our preliminary stage consultation fees with you. Most importantly, we’ll get to know you in order to establish a strong working relationship from the outset and tailor your home to your vision.

Once this information has been compiled and reviewed, we will move to create an action plan that gathers any outstanding project data and get you to sign a preliminary agreement, which will allow us to continue working on your project for a fee.

After the preliminary agreement has been signed, we’ll start getting down to the details of costing and labour. We’ll begin to reach out to our preferred suppliers and contractors, as well as engage project consultants who will ensure the build remains collaborative and cooperative.
In this stage, we will put together a comprehensive and detailed cost proposal that will provide a detailed breakdown of all costs associated with your build including site works, labour, materials and other fixtures. This will take 4-6 weeks to compile.

Once you’re happy with the design, cost and other details of your build, you’ll then be required to sign a contract so we can begin to build your dream home! These documents will be prepared and presented to you in person, and adhere to the Master Builders QLD contract. During this period, we’ll confirm the start date for construction works and provide guidance if you still need to choose the fittings, fixtures and finishes for your home.

After the contract is signed, we can begin construction. We’ll organise regular site visits and provide frequent online updates so you can stay informed and up-to-date on your build. We’ll also be available to talk over the phone on-site if you have any concerns or questions.

Time to hand over the keys to your home! If there are any issues with the finished home, we’ll attend to maintenance on the home free of charge for 90 days after completion.
